As part of our monthly 20 Questions with…. feature, we thought it might be a fun idea to also interview one member of our staff each month so that you can get to know us while we get to know you! This month I interviewed our very own Training and Development Coordinator, Rosanne Areington. Here are her answers to the 20 Questions…
1. How long have you been working at CoreXalance?
“1 year”
2. What do you think makes a good Training and Development Coordinator?
“Someone who has a passion for people, knows the importance of growth and can cope with change.”
3. What do you enjoy most about your job?
“The diversity and the challenges. It is never boring.”
4. If you were stranded on an island and could only take 3 things, what would you take?
“My cellphone, water and a chef”
5. What is your favourite day of the week, and why?
“Thursday because it is a sign that the weekend is around the corner”
6. If you were a box of cereal, what would you be?
“Any box where you get a free toy ha ha!”
7. If you won the lotto, what would you do with the money?
“Travel, pay off debts, buy cars and give to charity”
8. If you were a food, what type of food would you be?
“Anything starchy like pasta because it gives you energy. The flavour of the sauce would be based on my mood”
9. If you were not a Training and Development Manager, what would you be?
“The head of a Charity organisation. I love the idea of giving people things they need and making dreams come true”
10. If you were a Superhero, what would your Superpower be?
“A mind reader or being invisible. The only problem is, can you handle what you hear or see ha ha”
11. If you were a flavour of ice-cream, what flavour would you be?
“Anything with caramel, fudge or toffee”
12. If there was a movie produced about your life, who would play you?
“An unknown actress, so that my life can make her famous (giggles)”
13. Do you still believe in Santa?
“No I wish!”
14. What makes you smile?
“The staff at CoreXalance, my kids and my family”
15. If you were an animal, what kind of animal would you be and why?
“A cat or panther because they are so gracious and classy”
16. What is your favourite drink?
“Depends on my mood, but at the moment it would be Mojito’s”
17. What do you do when you are not at work?
“Watch movies or t.v and just relax”

“Coke”
19. Cats or dogs?
“Cats”
20. The beach or the bush?
“Beach”
